Property Owners

Association

Homeowners in Scissortail have access to amenities, a stable neighborhood, and consistency in the elegance and beauty of new homes in their neighborhood. The Property Owner’s Association ensures that our planned community’s appeal is preserved now and in the future, and one can rest assured in the knowledge that your investment in Scissortail will maintain and increase in value. Having a Property Owners Association means having a voice and a vote in the community of Scissortail.

POA Dues: $1440/year. 1st payment due at time of lot/home purchase and will be prorated based on month of closing. Dues will be assessed annually in January thereafter.

Covenants

For our property owners’ protection, we have in place Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCR’s) which govern the operations of the Scissortail’s Property Owners Association (POA) and Architectural Review Committee (ARC). 
Covenants set specifications for:

  • Duties of the Architectural Committee
  • Building designs and exceptions
  • Approved materials used in construction

Scissortail is a thoughtfully planned community because of the quality homes that are being built in a convenient location. The resort-style pools, gorgeous clubhouse, playground and fitness center are amenities we enjoy. We appreciate a safe, gated neighborhood where we can relax while surrounded by beautifully landscaped green spaces. Getting to know our neighbors at community events at the clubhouse are a way to build new friendships. We are extremely happy with our new home in Scissortail.
